Megan Mandel started her career as a financial advisor working in insurance prior to joining Equitable in 2012. In this experience, she realized the vast majority of people that she met did not understand financial planning and insurance planning, and she found her niche in helping people realize that understanding even the basics could change their entire futures. Ms. Mandel has found that many people have not been exposed to financial education do not understand all their options, and therefore don’t know of solutions to what may cause financial stress. Her goal is to help her clients find the most suitable financial avenues for them using ethical and sound advice.
Her prior experience before Equitable Advisors includes customer service, Insurance, and an internship with a CFP in Las Vegas. Megan’s business focus is in helping families with their overall planning for retirement, which includes employer sponsored plans, retirement plans, Insurance, college savings, income distributions strategies through retirement, Roth IRA’s, and pension planning. She works with many school district employees and wide range of different professionals.
Ms. Mandel graduated from UNLV with a degree in Business Finance, and holds her FINRA series 7, 66, 63, insurance and SIE professional designations. In her free time, she likes to hike, garden, attend Golden Knights games, good restaurants, and spend time with friends and family. She is proud to be a native of Las Vegas, and wouldn’t choose to live anywhere else.
